Suggest Remedy For Painful Achilles Tendinitis

I have been suffering from very painful Achilles tendinitis for several months(insertional)An X-ray shows calcification around insertion area. I have tried eccentric exercises , physio, heel raises and currently am wearing an air boot.As tjhis condition is seriously impacting on my life I wonder if you have any advice. 2.Reduce pain by icing your Achilles tendon and taking nonprescription pain relievers such as acetaminophen or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) as directed.
3.Follow your physical therapy program if one has been prescribed for you.
4.Do gentle stretching and strengthening exercises. Focus on calf stretches
5.Don't smoke or use other tobacco products. Smoking slows healing, because it decreases blood supply and delays tissue repair.
6.Wear footwear that protects the tendon while it heals.Quality athletic shoes that support your arches and cushion your heels can make a big difference in your comfort and healing.
Visit a orthopaedic surgeon if problem persist
