Suggest Remedy For Pain In Wrist

I am 26, 5ft 9 and approx. 14 st. I have had pain in my right wrist for the last 2 and half weeks. The pain does not seem to be improving and I feel the need to click it frequently by rotation even though it is not easing the pain. The pain is only when I try to lean on my wrist/open doors/flex forward and back (not side to side) and I have not found a way of easing the pain other than ibuprofen and a wrist support. I struggle to use my wrist and despite having wrist supports at my computer, it still aggravates the pain. I have previously had a similar pain in the ball and socket joint of my big toes.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Get your MRI and X-ray done to know the exact cause of your pain. Although you can use anti-inflammatory, apply Diclofenac gel, give hot fomentation to ease your pain.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jaideep Gaver, Orthopedic Surgeon
