Suggest Remedy For Pain In Rib Cage Of A Chronic Smoker

Hi, I am a 29 year old male that has been smoking a pack to about a pack and a half of cigarettes a day for almost ten years, except for the times when I attempted to quit. For a little while now (maybe 3 months) I have had a tightness under my rib cage along the right side, along my back. I have also recently found two very small lumps along the front of my rib cage on the right side(one the size of a pea and one the size of a dime), and sometimes when I am sitting down and leaning forwards I can feel something slipping or popping along the bottom of my right rib cage in the front. I am very afraid that I might have cancer though I do not feel any pain when I breathe deeply, I don t cough up blood, or have an symptoms like that. Can you please help me.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, in smoker some respiratory symptoms are very likely but that may not cause anything that is being stated here, lump could be lipoma or lymph node and this is nothing to worry, at the most x-ray chest need to be done to clear the doubts else this is nothing to worry, hope this information, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
