Welcome to healthcaremagic.com What you are describing is a benign condition from overuse, others describe anserine bursitis and pes anserinus. The ice will help but you can help yourself by fully stretching before soccer, also Ibuprofen will help with the inflammation that you are feeling. I play soccer myself and I pre-medicate with ibuprofen 600mg before the game to get ahead of the pain. Remember that it will resolve on it's own and it may recur in the future, it is benign and should not stop you from enjoying your sports. I hope this helps. Good luck
