Suggest Remedy For Pain In Heel Due To Bunion And Arthritis
Hi Dr. I have heel pain for the last 3 weeks and a half. Had an Mri. Results today don t show a lot. A bunion and arthritis a bit on outer edge of foot. I stand a lot at work. 4 hours at a time. Foot would be numb then and limping badly with terrible pain. Had to stop after 2 weeks of it. Got unbearable. Will I get cured and be able to keep my job.
I have studied your case with diligence. Yes this can be arthritis. You may need MRI /x ray of ankle and foot to see for development of any arthritis. Shoe/footwear should be with soft sole. You can use silicon pad insoles.
If no relief with this line of treatment then you may need subtalar fusion.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
Take care.
