OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

In some cases it may be muscle spasm, kidney stone or infection in urinary tract or in the testes. As hernia has been excluded, we will advise to look for testes and the kidneys by ultrasound.

It's better to check urine for infection. He can take simple pain relief medicines like paracetamol until the diagnosis is confirmed. if all these reports are OK, sometimes it may be because of some problems in the hip joint. therefore, orthopaedic consultation may be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Sujoy Dasgupta
