Suggest Remedy For Pain In Front Part Of Neck

I woke up yesterday with this pain in the front part of my neck (feels like a bruise ). I also a dull throbbing sensation in my left ear and under my jaw. I can barely move my head to the right without it causing a sharper pain . Do you know what maybe causing this ?and do i need to go to a Dr or will it fix itself?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The pain in the part of the neck and below the ears can be because of the neck muscle spasm(sternocleidomastoid muscle) called torticolis. This can occur secondary to abnormal sleeping posture. Nothing to be panic, consult a general physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take analgesic like diclofenac and muscle relaxants like chlorzoxazone(if you are not allergic). You can give warm fomentation over the muscle.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
