Hello Doctor,My daughter is 2.5 yrs old. After Vaxigrip vaccination today, within 30 min of vaccination, she started crying and complaining of leg muscle pain. She even can t walk due to pain. We have given her Crocin 5 ml syrup and Thrombophob Gel for oral application. IS THIS PAIN NORMAL? HOW LONG WILL IT LAST? General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The pain at the vaccination site is usual for a period of 3-4 hours usually. Additional intake of Ibuprofen, Paracetamol combination syrup and ice application every 2-3 hourly will resolve the issue within sooner time.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Purva Patel, General & Family Physician
