Suggest Remedy For Pain In Back And Upper Side Of Scrotum

Good evening Sir, I have a pain on the back and upper side of my scrotum. The pain though isn't acute but is lingering. It started around 4 days ago, after I had been on a bus ride for 18 hrs and prior to that and still have itching on my groin area. Please advise.

Hello,

Yes you can have back pain and testicular pain with numbness of the area after prolong ride because of compression of spinal nerves. You can take OTC analgesics for pain relief and also you can use cold therapy to reduce inflammation and hot compression to increase blood flow of the affected area. If its not settling go and see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sameen Bin Naeem, General & Family Physician
