my wife has sciatic pain from two bulged discs and has had exrays and mri. We went to letterman spinal center. The doctor there said no operation was needed and to go home and take some Ibuprofen. Did not show or discuss Mri findings. that was in March or April of 2011. She has sufferd all year and all the local er and family dr says is pain management and thearapy. She can barely get to the bathroom by herself and crys in pain thats in her hip and leg and I have called everyone I know for help. And i cry because no one seems to care. Insurance is not a problem. What can I do. I don t know where to turn.

Hello,

It may be due to muscle sprain.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

Do regular physical therapy after physiotherapist consultation.

In case of not getting relief you may require MRI back after orthopedician consultation.

Hope I have answered your query..
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr Shyam Kale
