General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello if you have heard a crack and you can move it but i would still suggest to get a xray of the arm to be sure there is no fracture at all. Once its cleared out you have to give rest to the arm for atleast 1 week and take some analgesics and anti inflammatory medications for the same. I would advice against going to the gym for 1 week atleast for it should not complicate the injury further.
