Suggest Remedy For Pain From Boil On Side Of Thigh
I have a red bump on the side of my thigh. I m pretty sure it s a boil because I have had one before in a different spot. It is warm to the touch and recently it has a little hole and around it, that is purple. Also, it is like a hard bump. It affects my walking because it is so painful.

thank you for asking your concern and welcome to hcm. if you have repeated boil i would suggest you take antibiotics properly for atleast a week. skin is like armor for our body in if it breaks it these microbes will get entry to inside of body also. it will be wiser if we can act timely upon it. for pain you can take tablet paracetamol one tab thrice daily for 2-3 days. tab ampiclox 500 mg thrice daily will be a good option for boils and if you have any sensitivity to penicillines then tab cefuroxime 500 mg twice daily can be taken. please take atleast one week course. if boil is small then beladona sticking can be applied to relieve pain and for early ripening. if boil is large then you have to consult a doctor.
