Suggest Remedy For Nose Bleed

Had a bad nose bleed that would not stop. When I was holding my nose trying to stop it blood was backing up and coming out my right eye. Went to er and it stopped. Now my right eye hurts and all red. Is the blood draining or is it a problem with my right eye. Er did not do anything.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of nose bleed and that is recurring. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like infection , trauma , allergic and nonallergic rhinitis, hypertension and use of blood thinning medications. Need not to worry. Nose bleeding in case of head injury sometimes become a emergency condition if there are symptoms like dizziness , vomiting and neck pain. You should touching or picking nose with any sharp object. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan, MRI and do physical examination . Doctor may refer you to neurologist if he/she finds problem to be related with brain injury or problem related to nose .
