Suggest Remedy For Nail Infection In A Child

My daughter is 2 years old and had a hangnail infection appear two days ago. Redness started to appear down her hand, so we took her to the hospital and they gave her amoxicillin antibiotics (2 times a day) and fucidin 2% to put on the infection and to soak the finger.
The pus had appeared under her skin today, so my husband decided to get this out, and pus and blood came out of the wound this morning.
Now it is evening, and her finger is very purple. Should we take her back to the hospital? Or is this a sign that it is healing?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, welcome to HCM.
it seems that the child has developed abscess under the skin which needs drainage. In my opinion, you should go to the doctor once again and drain the abcess if its present. Till then continue antibiotics. Take care.
