Suggest Remedy For Muscle Cramps After Total Hip Replacement Surgery

I had total hip replacement about seven weeks ago. My muscles in my upper leg sommetimes cramp up horribly and wont release for several hours. After the spasm, they are sore for days. It is a very painful ordeal and I would like to know what is going on.

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you are having muscle cramps. These are likely to be due to Vitamin deficiencies. Its treatment is EvionLC and calcium. For pain relief analgesic such as ibuprofen are to be taken. Vitamin D3 can be supplemented if it is low. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope I have answered your query. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
