Hi...As per your description this looks like a case of acute tonsillitis or upper airway infection associated with cervical lymphadenopathy which is recurrent in nature. Increased wbc count is suggestive of underlying infection. As the child is playful otherwise and x ray chest is normal so lower respiratory tract seems normal. This kind of repeated tonsillar infection or upper airway infection are common in pediatrics age group and it also leads to halitosis or foul breaths. As the child is already receiving antibiotics you should complete the course and again follow up with your pediatrician for examination of the tonsils. In the long run you should take care that adequate hygiene is maintained and hand washing is strictly followed along with avoidance of contaminated outside food to prevent recurrence.
