Suggest Remedy For Low Bp

My mother has a history of high blood pressure with both top and bottom numbers in triple digits. Recently, however, she was diagnosed with chronic liver disease. We stopped all bp meds because she was dizzy and falling. Months after the decreased meds, she is lethargic, weak and her blood pressure is 80/52. Is this too low for her and what should I do to help raise it if it is?

Hi welcome to HCM,
The low blood pressure after many years of high blood pressure could be due to the development of a state of decompensated congestive cardiac failure, which developed secondary to chronic liver disease.I advice an ultrasound liver along with 2D screening echo for assessment of cardiac function. This can cause low blood pressure, its not advisable to stop all BP medications all of sudden. This can precipitate cardiac ischemia.lethargy and dizziness is due to sustained low BP.Drugs like digioxin and dopamine will help to improve the cardiac pumping function and improve Blood pressure.Reconsider introducing BP medications .Consult an expert cardiologist for further help.
Thank you
