Suggest Remedy For Low BP And Heart Rate

Hi there, I am 28yrs old 5ft 2in weight 175lbs, I have hypo thyroid. Heart disease runs in my family, my father died at 49 because of it and so did my grandfather. I have been experiencing a lot of low BP and low heart rate, today it was 36. My dr seems to be very puzzled on what to do with me and I am starting to get worried. What do you think?

Hello,

The very first thing is to re-evaluate your thyroid through thyroid function test. You need a further complete cardiac check up (EKG, echocardiogram, Holter monitoring). Complete blood count to rule out anemia, blood electrolytes to rule out related imbalance, check also levels of vitamin-D and calcium, altogether are required to determine the right diagnosis.

After evaluating the results, you can decide about the best treatment strategy. Discuss this further with your caring doctor.

All the best. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thank you.
