Suggest Remedy For Labia Revision

My question is very personal. I had a labia revision done about 3 years ago. I am involved with a new partner and he advised I have no inner anymore. He is complaining about how I feel. Would that change me that drastic? Now I am wondering should I have the surgery for my inner vagina. I had the surgery due to getting constant infections. The man I am with has me questioning my sexual parts. I never had any other issues before. please advise does that surgery change my parts that much ? I thought it just changed the look and helped with the infections. I am so confused now

Hello,

Labial revisions are often done for redundant skin of the labia that can interfere with general function or cause recurrent infections as it was in your case. Unless there were other issues addressed at the time of the surgery, a labial revision alone does not alter the vaginal anatomy at all and therefore should not change your sexual intercourse experience. I would recommend you make an appointment with your gynecologist for a pelvic exam so that she may ensure that you have no other abnormalities such as a cervical or vaginal mass, or any other abnormality that may be felt by your partner during intercourse.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
