Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Increased uric acid levels can lead to chronic joint pain (podagra arthritis) and sexual dysfunction. For this reason, the main thing to do is to take medicine to help reduce uric acid plasma levels, coupled with diet modifications (low protein intake).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
