Suggest Remedy For Itchy Vagina

I am 37, 5'6" and 145 pounds. My last gynecological visit was about two weeks ago; I had no STD's and my papsmear was normal. I noticed my vagina was extremely dry and itchy after removing tampons during my last menstrual cycle.I used an over-the-counter yeast infection treatment, which stopped the itching. However, I noticed a foul odor the last two times I had intercourse. I have very little discharge and what I do get smells weird.

Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

You are suffering from recurrent vaginal yeast infection. Do a vaginal swab test to confirm the diagnosis.

I suggest to use VAGISIL cream and CLINGEN FORTE vaginal suppository for 3-5 days to reduce vaginal itching and discharge. For that, I suggest to consult with your gynecologist and take complete prescription.

Maintain genital hygiene properly. Wear clean and cotton underwear. Keep the area always dry. Avoid chemical bath products.

Take care and Be well.
