Suggest Remedy For Itchy Red Rash On Neck, Back And Abdomen

My skin has become extremely itchy the last 24 hours especially the back of the neck area. I seem to have a visible rash on my neck, back, stomach, chest, arms and the palms of my hands. My glands in my neck are also swollen for the last 5 days and sometimes it hurts to swallow.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome.

A skin rash and swollen glands in the neck/throat can point towards a few conditions and I shall go ahead and list a few of them out for you. Tonsillitis, contact dermatitis, viral pharyngitis, varicella infection, Lymes disease, etc.

I would thus urge you to visit a physician for a general checkup and confirm/rule out some worrying conditions on the list of suspected causes.

Best wishes.
