Suggest Remedy For Itchy Bumps On Mons Pubis

Hey. I have a few bumps on my mons pubis. Its somewhat itchy, but its not that serious. I think they may be shaving bumps, but i dont know entirely. Theyre not large bumps, but theyre not that tiny either. They dont have any specific coloring to them other than the coloring of my skin. Any treatments to make them go away?

Hi,

Let me answer your questions.

Your symptoms can be due to infection or inflammation of the hair follicles. Commonly known as folliculitis.

I will suggest you apply an ointment containing antifungal agents and antibacterial and mild steroids. Use of good quality hair remover lotions or use of sharp razors is advisable.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purushottam Neurgaonkar,
