Suggest Remedy For Itching At Anus And Surrounding

i have an itching problem at my anus and surrounding, i was given smuth and deltegisic but the problem did not go. a month ago i used cosvate GM 17gm, and it worked. In fact my fissure has got healed and the itching has become lesson. I m doing the right medication?

Hi,

You seem to have pruritus ani. There may some cause. Fissure in ano,piles, fungal infection,contact dermatitis,worms,drugs,psychological factors..etc can cause pruritus ani. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. Mild steroid with antibitic and antifugal cream may be applied twice aday. Sitz bath in dettol containing water tub during bath may be done daily. Take antihistaminics like levocetirizine daily at night. Take albendazole tab. If needed, steroid in tappering dose for few weeks. Anxiolytic like fluoxetin 10 mg daily at night. If you have doubt about piles,consult surgeon. You may become alright. I hope you got my answer.
