OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

In the current scenario, It is clear that your uterus is responding to hormone stimulus. However, the rhythm disturbance needs to be corrected at the root level instead of cyclical hormone treatment.

This calls for a proper evaluation which includes clinical assessment, complete hormone assay, sonogram of the pelvis, blood counts, urinalysis and lifestyle changes.

Medications like metformin help to treat insulin resistance which is a common feature of PCOD.

This results in the initiation of ovulation. Correction of any hormone deficiencies, treatment of infections if any, correction of nutritional deficiencies and maintenance of a healthy lifestyle are part of management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shanti Vennam,
