hello, I have a concern with my intestinal tract bleeding almost once per month. I am rying to make sure I am eating enough fibre within my diet and am still noticing this issue. It is bright red in colour but I am not having any pain when passing a stool. The amount of red is not exactly small ether as is fills the entire bowl. kind regards, Allen C

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Noted your history of
Passing fresh blood after motion that spols the bowl, there is no pain and occurs off and on.
This is highly suggestive of hemorrhoids.
I would like to advise you the following:
First of all, consult a general Surgeon for local examination, ano-proctoscopy, and Colonoscopy.
Depending upon the findings go for conservative management or if larger surgery will be required.
High fiber diet to continue.
Take laxative.
Avoid straining work.
