General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms can be related to costochondritis which is an inflammation of the cartilage of the rib cage. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation. I also suggest using cold compresses for local application.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
