Suggest Remedy For Infected Blister Post Skin Tag Removal

My MD removed some skin tags under my breasts two weeks ago. One blister became infected while the others have almost completely healed. I saw her today, and she prescribed me Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim 800-160 for the infection. Reading about this med, what it s prescribed for, and common side effects, I feel it is overkill for a simple skin infection, especially since she implied that the infection didn t look bad (because it didn t need to be lanced and drained). The infected blister is yellow in the middle and bright red on the perimeter, with the red area becoming wider and redder in the past 24 hours. I had been treating with topical Neosporin with no visible improvement before I went to my MD. What do you think?

For infected blister you have to take tab augmentin 625 mg or tab septran (sulphamethoxazole + trimethoprim)that is same as prescribed by your M.D. three times daily after meals with tab combiflam or tab ibugesic-plus three times daily after meals for pain and redness with cap omez or tab rabez twice daily empty stomach. As you have asked septran is prescribed to overcome infection and it is quite safe to take except for allergic reactions that sometimes develop in very few patients.
