Suggest Remedy For Hallucinations And Talking In Sleep

Hi my husband has been talking up a storm in his sleep as well as seeing things that are not there - for instance, he saw 2 men walking on our street in the middle of the night - he could describe them completely; he also has jerky movements and weakness. He will be carrying on a complete conversation with different people and I can, for the most part, understand what he is saying or who he is talking to. this has been going on for about a week and seems to be getting worse. He has many health issues: dialysis patient, broken neck several years ago, pancreatic cancer/small intestinal cancer. He has also had many, many surgeries.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi

It is a sign of either attention-seeking, feeling lonely or even being stressed. Basically most cases of sleep talking are related to something psychological requiring a consultation with a psychiatrist who should be able to help him.

best wishes
