Suggest Remedy For Glandular Fever
my daughter is 11yrs and has a sore throat, swollen gland in right side of neck very prominent , fever, diagonosed tonsilities no improvement with antibiotics ,then got white ulcers around inside of mouth ,see own doc got another priscription different antibiotics some improvement she has still got temp but not constantley hot as before what worrys me is she know has swollen gums still very tired not being sick anymore ,had blood test today for glandular fever she has been of school for 7 school days . family history of children and cancer .

The symptoms that you are mentioning can be just of acute tonsillitis which is not responding to antibiotics well, and this is the case scenario where one might suspect glandular fever. Having that said, you should start over the counter vitamin C available, as that will increase the over all immunity of your child. Glandular fever usually subsides in few days. The important thing is to keep the hydration well, have plenty of fluids. It usually takes 2-3 weeks before the weakness and pain goes off, since it is a viral disease so antibiotics are not of much use.
