Suggest Remedy For Gastric Reflux

Sir,I am 37 years old, male. I am suffering from severe gastric reflux and heartburn whether I eat or not. My throat and nose are always congested because of the gastric reflux. My stomach is always gaseous, bloated, and painful especially after eating. I feel like i have indigestion/malabsorption, almost all foods are hard for me, I tried eating vegetarian food but i started losing weight and become weak. Even with normal diet, I am about 10 kg down now from my peak weight a few years ago. Stomach pain has always been a problem for me. When I eat meat and certain types of vegetarian foods, I feel terrible pain especially at night. I have most of the time constipation and sometimes diarrhea. i have seen blood in stool. I am suffering from these problems since my childhood and are getting worse. Another problem is my tongue gets swollen and getting mouth sores and mouth becomes very dry when taking antibiotics and many other allopathic and ayurvedic medicine, so I am in a sad situation. And finally, I have been living with a lot of family stressors in my life, always. Thank you.

Sincerely.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Bloating, pain, gastric reflux, congested throat and nose, mouth ulcers and so on indicate that you may have more than one problem that are manifesting in the way as you have noted.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
First of all make a list of the foods that instigate or enhance the symptoms so that you can stop these as a preventive measure so that management can be effective.
Get stool tests done for three consecutive days.
Tests of blood for CBC, thyroid, liver and kidney function with lipase, amylase and any others as may be suggested by your Doctors/ Gastroenterologist on clinical evaluation, examination correlating the reports of investigations.
Upper GI Endoscopy, colonoscopy and CT scan of the abdomen will help further to get an exact cause and get treated accordingly.
Till then get started on a PPI like Omeprazole, Domperidone for motility regulation, antacids, probiotics; symptomatic and supportive treatment. Any specific disease found will be treated specifically.
If all the investigations are within normal limits then this may be the case of IBS that is irritable bowel syndrome. Then you have to get the stress under control either by naturotherapy like meditation, yoga or with medications as required.
Change the lifestyle to suit you the best and avoid the symptoms.
