Suggest Remedy For Frequent Swollen Tonsils, Constipation, Mouth Sores, Sulfur Burps With Being Lactose Intolerant

My daughter is 5 years old. Since birth she has been lactose intolerant. She has frequent swollen tonsils, constipation, mouth sores, and sulfur burps. She has a natural aversion to beef and chicken (except chicken nuggets). We eat a well balanced diet with lots of fruit and vegetables. Any idea what may be causing this? She doesn t have diarrhea but complains of belly aches. She takes multi-vitamins and pro-biotics daily. Occasionally we give her fiber gummies. She has been prescribed Miralax for constipation. Thanks! DAWN

hi dawn frequent swollen tonsils are significant when there is recurrent fever, loss of sleep, snoring, midnight awakening or when the tonsils are swollen with pus.for the lactose intolerance what are you giving as a alternate food? is the child toilet trained? the constipation is causing belly aches. mouth sores may be due to lack of curds in diet. ensure she takes plenty of fluids and make her sit on the loo pot every morning irrespective of wether she passes stools or not for fifteen minutes
