Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion you are having palpitations (subjective awareness of own pulse).
Palpitations with heaviness in chest especially in night favours possibility of cardiac disease.
So I advice you to consult cardiologist first and get done ECG and 2D ECHO. These will helpful in identify arrhythmia and coronary artery disease as a cause for your symptoms.
If both of these are normal than I advice you to consult pulmonologist and get done chest x ray and Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) to rule out bronchitis. As bronchitis also cause palpitations and heaviness.
