Suggest Remedy For Fever Post Grafeel Injection
After second session of chemotherapy, my mom TLC goes to 1400 count and doctor suggest to take Grafeel 300 microgm injection. After taking grafeel injection yesterday morning, my mom feel bone pain and feeling very tired. Now she have fever. What to do to lower down the fever

HELLO N WELLCOME. BONE PAIN N FEVER R VERY COMMON SIDE EFFECTS OF GRAFEEL, ITS GIVEN FOR NEUTROPENIA ESP POST CHEMO. SHE CAN TAKE TAB CELECOXIB 200 MG BD, IF NOT AVAILABLE TAKE ACETAMINOPHEN 500 MG 4 TIMES A DAY. PLUS DO DISCUSS WITH UR DOCTOR HOW LOW DOES THE NEUTROPHIL COUNT LOWERS FOR GRAFEEL INJ IS AS I THINK UR MOTHER S TLC COUNT IS NT THAT LOW... THANX

I really appreciate your concern for your mother if she is on chemotherapy then it is very likely that she gets the fever this is very known side effect of chemotherapy, fever can be best controlled with Tab Acetaminophen 500 mg three times in day, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
