Suggest Remedy For Extreme Elevation In BP While On Thyroid Medication
Thank you. I just turned 54 and am female. I had a blood pressure reading at the hospital today of 212/190. Very alarming. I am on thyroid medication of 75 mcg and Lisinopril of 10 mg for blood pressure-but skip it some days. I just worry it could be dangerous.

I understand your query & concern.
You should not drop Lisinopril.. it's the drug to control Blood pressure. You should visit your treating physician & get the dose adjusted. take bed rest/ avoid salt intake.
Looking at your symptoms, I would advise for rechecking of thyroid function tests & consult your endocrinologist for change in thyroid medication/ the dose of same medication.
