Suggest Remedy For Extreme Dandruff And Hairfall

When I rub my hair a lot of white stuff falls out. So much that you can see it on my shirt and sometimes even the floor with all the white. Also hair falls out, about 10 - 15 strands of it. Lastly, a funny smell comes from my hair and it is really weird as i have never smelt anything like ti

One of the common causes of dandruff with associated hair fall is seborrheic dermatitis caused by fungus. This infection involving the scalp and the upper part of the neck results in hair fall along with white flakes (stuff) and smell.

Start using medicated shampoo containing antifungal antibiotic like Ketoconazole.
Apply it twice daily, do not use water for at least 6-8 hrs after applying the shampoo.
If there is no improvement, consult a dermatologist.
