I am a 38 year old mom . 6 weeks ago had tendonitis in my shoulder and took prednisone. I know it makes it harder to fight infection when taking it but its been a little while. I got a regular run of the mill cold 3 weeks ago and had gotten over it but then got something way worse from one of my boys.I have had a sore throat with swollen nasal and very little mucus, I had a high fever for 3 days that caused me to hallucinate when it was at its worst. after a long shower and motrin it finally broke and i broke out in a sweat from head to toe. I dont have much mucus just very swollen. I did a round of steam over a pot of hot water that broke loose some nasty stuff in the back of my nose that was bloody. Now my fever is better but night before last i woke up to the feeling like a blister popped in my ear Or, like i was stabbed in the ear drum and fluid came from my ear. I have yellow junk in my eyes all day with itching and burning. still have ear pain and very dry in my mouth and nose. sinus infection ? with pink eye and ear infection? im frustrated I do not have insurance. If it is just a virus i don t want to pay to go to the dr if i don t need to and can buy a over the counter decongestant or something.
