Suggest Remedy For Difficulty In Keeping The Eyes Open

they think my husband has myastina graves we have been getting the run around his one eye is closed has been for a month now as of last night his other eye is closing and no strength in his arm getting run around waiting to see a doctor in weeks what can I do

Hi,

Definitely, your husband needs to be investigated for myasthenia gravis, as in 50% of cases first symptoms of Myasthenia are pertaining to eyes like diplopia, drooping of lids and difficulty in focusing etc., (Myasthenia Ocularis). About 15% of these cases will only have visual symptoms life long and affecting no other part of body. However, in your case as he is also having decreased strength in his arms, the diagnosis may be of generalized myasthenia gravis and needs treatment accordingly.
