Suggest Remedy For Diarrhea And Vomiting During Pregnancy
Hello I m 24 weeks pregnant , six months. I was sent home by my job today because I called my doctor due to constantly throwing up and throwing up blood afterwards and diarrhea. They think I have a bug. I m concerned because I just found out someone I work with has shingles and I m around her often. Should I be worried ?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of being 24 weeks pregnancy and started with constantly throwing up blood and have developed diarrhea too. Thought of bug, someone you work with has shingles. The worry at the moment is blood in vomitus that is serious and needs admission to the hospital as you have diarrhea too. Infection and dehydration are not good for your baby hence needs tests of blood, stool, intravenous fluids and antibiotics if indicated.. Gynecologist's examination and further management are the must.
