Suggest Remedy For Depression

I suffer from depression and sometimes it gets bad, it feels like its hard to breath and my throat is swollen, I don't cry nonstop, but do have short spells of crying. Is the difficulty breathing and feeling of the throat swelling normal with crying, even if only a little, or is it signs of a panic attack?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to us,

When one is overwhelmed with emotions, it is possible to experience these symptoms while crying. If you suffer from depressive disorder, please get it treated by a psychiatrist. If you are under treatment already then kindly visit your treating psychiatrist for residual symptoms.

Hope this helps,
