Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are having cough which seems to be due to upper respiratory tract infection or lung infection. Need not to worry. I would sugged you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. You should get X-ray chest and pulmonary function tests done to check extent of infection. You should maintain oral hygiene. Do warm saline gargles. You should use mist humidifiers in room. Take cough expectorants on daily basis. Take diet rich in multivitamins and drink plenty of fluids.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
