Suggest Remedy For Cough With Gasping Breath

My daughter is a year old and she caught a cold almost two weeks ago and now she's coughing so much and so hard now that she is gasping and struggling to breathe and she hasn't been able to keep anything down because she coughs so much and so hard everything she rats just comes right back up once the coughing starts again. She hasn't been able to sleep much either because of it. What can I do? Is there anything I can give her to help her?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it appears that she has tracho bronchitis, may be due to the allergy, and super infection with bacteria.
I advise you to consult a pediatrician for diagnosis and treatment .
She may need to have X ray and blood tests for diagnosis .
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, phenylephrine, citrizine, and paracetamol.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
