Suggest Remedy For Cough, High Fever With Severe Rashes
Several days ago my 18 yr old daughter had cough and high fever. Then she developed a rash on her face but her fever is gone. This morning she woke up early because her hands and feet were so itchy. They are slightly red but no visible bumps or rashes. The rashes on her face are still there.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of cough, high fever with severe rashes which seems to be due to bronchitis/upper respiratory tract infection. It could be due to coinfection by bacteria and virus. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should go for throat swab test and X-ray chest as well start treatment after proper diagnosis. You should get pulmonary function test done to check level of infection. You should do warm saline gargles. You should take steam inhalation. You should take antiallergic medication along with proper course of antibiotic along with Ibuprofen. Do tepid sponging.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
