Suggest Remedy For Constipation Due To Diverticulitis

I have been constipated and have mild bowel movement and now have pain above my pelvic when caughing or sneezing. I have been diagnosed with diverticulitisus. i Have been treated for it twice this year but still fill that I can t release as a normal person would. Stool is very thin and only a few. With this I feel that I can t get rid of an awful cough and wheezing and breathing issues as well even though it has been treated seems to keep coming back as well. Can you guide me on what to do next.

It sounds like you might have bronchitis which is inflammation of the airways. It is usually self limiting and does not require treatment. Cough is the predominate symptom, and can last for many weeks.
I would recommend:
-getting some good rest
-increasing fluids
-Tylenol and ibuprofen if you're having pain or fevers
-update vaccinations
-avoid smoking or second hand smoke
-antibiotics are generally not recommend
-cough suppressant such as tessalon pearl or similar
-decongestant such as Benadryl

Diverticulitis or diverticulum/diverticula are outpouchings of colonic mucosa and submucosa through weakened muscle layers in the colonic wall. I would recommend:
-High-fiber diet or nonabsorbable fiber (psyllium) (>30 g/day of fiber) - foods such as bran, fruits and vegetables, and whole grains
-Miralax daily
-increase fluid intake
-avoid medications that can worse constipation
-enemas or suppository
-regular exercise
-probiotics

Occasional mild constipation is normal.
The best time to move bowels is in the morning, after eating breakfast, when the normal bowel transit and defecation reflexes are functioning.
