Suggest Remedy For Constipation And Distended Stomach During Pregnancy

Im a 27 year old white female and i m 8 weeks pregnant. I have been constipated but unable to have a bowel movement going on two weeks now. Ive been to er and they gave me meds to help have bowel movement but still nothing yet. They also told me I had a subchorionic hemmorage and to not strain because that could cause me to miscarry. What should I do my stomach is distented and im vomiting and in terrible pain?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You can try using a suppository. This would be local and since it is not taken by mouth, should not have any effect on the baby.

There are different laxative suppositories available.

After you have been able to pass stool and the vomiting stops, you need to make sure that you use enough fluids (at least 8 glasses a day) and fiber.
You should use at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables and also whole grain products.
