Suggest Remedy For Cold And Cough Along With Mouth Ulcers

I had cough and cold a week back. My GP gave me medicines (no antibiotics) and the cough and cold settled in 2 days. I have no fever. However, since last 3-4 days, when I clear my throat in the morning, I have traces of blood. This happens only in the morning and not throughout the day. I also have a ulcer on my toungue. I did my CBC and ESR tests also and they are normal. I do not have cough. I personally don t think this is related to my lungs. I feel the blood is coming from my throat. Can you please advise.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern that you are having upper respiratory tract infection along with mouth ulcers.
Traces of blood coming out especially in the morning could be due to bleeding ulcers or bleeding in mucosa of throat wherein infection is still persisting.
It is better you take a course of antibiotics Levofloxacin 500mg once a day for 5 days. Do salt water gargling twice a day with warm water followed by mouth wash using Chlorhexidine solution.
Take multivitamin B complex capsules once a day for one month so that your ulcers will also heal.
