Suggest Remedy For Chills,headaches And Tiredness Due To UTI
I was diagnosed with a UTI on Friday. I called the Dr. because of side effects of Levofloxacin and was told that my culture came back negative. ???? My symptoms of pain at urination and BM, low flow, back pain, and urine odor has subsided. It took a couple of days on the antibiotic. Yet, I continue to chill, have headaches, am tired and week and get exhausted easily. The primary side effect to the Levofloxacin in mainly pain in my Achilles tendons.

Dear- I understand your concern.I reviewed the question in detail.Sometimes you can have symptoms of urinary tract infection and we are not able to isolate the organism in the urine culture.However, if symptoms persist, it is good to give a trial with antibiotics.You can have other antibiotics that are good for UTI.It would be advisable to drink cramberry juice and water. If you don't get better, you might need a cystoscopy to evaluate for other possibilities as urethral stricture or bladder problem.
