Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You seem to have yeast (
fungal infection). Many a times, yeast infection co-exits with Trichomonal infection also. Along with the antifungal treatment, please take a course of
Metronidazole for Trichomonal infection too.
The fleshy tags you are noticing at the vaginal outlet is most likely to be fungal growth. These infections spread through sexual contact. Hence, irrespective of any symptoms to the male, both the sexual partners should take the treatment simultaneously.
In addition, use Lactobacilli vaginal ovules and Lactobacilli perineal wash. To prevent recurrence:
1. Observe complete sexual abstinence till both of you are declared completely cured.
2. Shave the private parts clean of the hair.
3. Boil underwear : You may use panty liners.
4. Clip the nails short - flush to the skin.
Report to your gynaecologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
