Suggest Remedy For Burning Pain In Navel Region

Hi I have been experience a burning type pain my lower navel region on and off for a few months. I have mistaken the pain to be a water infections and urine samples have come back fine. I have been diagnosed with ins and wondered if this could be related to the pain I have. Other symptoms include swollen and tender abdomen and I have not had a period for 2 months however I am not pregnant.

Hi.
As per your case history of burning pain on navel region.
My treatment advice is -
1. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
2. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain.
3. Take a vitamin b12 supplement once daily for 3 months.
4. Other treatment options are oral gabapentin, carabamazepine and amitryptiline taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
