Suggest Remedy For Burning And Pain Due To Pacemaker Defibrillator
My husband has a pacemaker defibrillator He s had it for 3 - years now but in the last week he s been experiencing this burning and pain by it.It s happened about 6-7 times just today It s stressing him out. What could it possibly be, we re pretty close to going to the EL Thanks, Margaret
Hi welcome to HCM. Burning sensation in your case could most likely be attributed to underlying gastritis or acid reflux.Pacemaker generally will not cause any such symptoms.I advise you to have an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy to rule out the concerned issue.Meanwhile drugs like proton pump inhibitors like omeprazole taken on empty stomach will help to control the symptoms.Elevate the head end of the bed by 45cms.Avoid large meal at bedtime.Consult your cardiologist for further help. Thank you.
